From UVLayout Docs

These instructions are for customers with floating licenses who wish to upgrade to UVLayout v2. General information about HLServer can be found at http://www.headus.com/doc/HLServer.

Note: If your HLServer installation is older than around April 2007, you will need to grab and install the latest version from http://www.uvlayout.com/hlserver before proceeding any further. Be sure to read [1].

1) On the license server, edit your hlserver.conf file and add a "PRODUCT uvlayoutv2 ..." line; the easiest way to do this would be to copy then edit the existing "uvlayoutv1" line ...

 PRODUCT uvlayoutv1  <access list here>
 PRODUCT uvlayoutv2  <same list here>

2) Also on the server, edit your keys.txt file (or .keys file under Linux) and add your v2 license to the end of the file. For example ...

3) Run hlmanager and tell hlserver to load up the edited files with a "reload" command. You should then get a status update that shows both the old v1 licenses and the new v2 licenses ...

4) Install UVLayout v2 on each of your workstations.
